Security operatives rescue four kidnap victims in kebbi

Following the efforts of the Kebbi State Governor in protecting lives and property of the citizens, the Nigeria Army in collaboration with the local vigilante have dislodged large number of bandits and rescued four kidnapped victims in Suru Local Government Area of Kebbi State

The Director Security, Abdulrahman usman while breifing newsmen in Birnin Kebbi revealed that the incident happened at about
about 4:00 pm last Wednesday when gallant troops of one Battalion, Dukku Barracks in Birinin Kebbi in collaboration with local vigilante conducted a fighting patrol at Bangi Hill, a hideout of the criminals.

The Director said that the success was attributed to the sustained support of the present administration to security agencies in the state.

“During the operation, the team dislodged large number of bandits during which four kidnapped victims regained freedom,” he added.

According to him, the rescued victims are; Mallam Audu Fulani, 45 years old, Umar Wakili, 14, Alhaji Iman 50 and Chaggo Garba 19 years old.

He then urged people of the area to support the security agencies with credible intelligence to enable them discharge their duties diligently.
