Governor Dr Nasir Idris of kebbi state has won the Nigerian Institute of Architect’s “Architect of modern Kebbi” award.
This was contained in a statement by the commissioner of information and culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed and made available to Analyzer news on Wednesday.
The award which was initially collected on the Governor’s behalf by the Head of Service Alhaji Safiyanu Bena was formally presented to him at the end of the state of executive council meeting held on Wednesday.
The Head of Service noted, while presenting the award, that the massive infrastructure outlay which the Governor has churned out so far and their importance to the overall development of Kebbi state was acknowledged and appreciated by many Nigerians.
He remarked that the Institute recognized the place of critical infrastructure in the economic and industrial development of any society.
