Three critical social media influencers of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Kebbi state have decamped into the All Progressives congress APC.
The three – Zaharaddeen Salisu Muhammad BK, Lukman Hassan and Comrade Namijin Duniya were received into their new party by the Commissioner of Information and Culture Hon Yakubu Ahmed BK.
They were accompanied by a dozen of their friends in the APC fold.
The event took place in the office of the commissioner last Friday.
They were led by a respected youth leader, teacher and social media activist Bello Ibrahim known as Jikan Dede.
Their move into the APC is seen within social media platforms as a significant lost to the PDP due to their pedigree, clout, influence and doggedness in the social media space.
They took turns to express their support for the developmental policies of the administration of Comrade Nasir idris and the impact such policies have made in the quest to ensure growth in the state.
They pledged to team up with other social media patriots in Kebbi state so that the much needed support from the citizenry to ensure that the entire state joins in the struggle is attained.
The Commissioner Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed commended the trio for their wise decision to join the winning team of Governor Nasir Idris.
He noted that the development of infrastructures across the state and the impact it will have on economic progress will change the negatives of mediocrity that has pervaded the state in the past.
He promised to carry them along and called on all patriots to join the APC administration to put the state on the path of sustainable development.
