JONAPWD Congratulates Kebbi Gov Idris On His Victory At Supreme Court

The Joint National Associate of Persons with disabilities kebbi state council (JONAPWD) and it’s entire members joined the rest of the people in Kebbi State to congratulate governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu on his Victory at the supreme Court judgment. 

In a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Birnin  kebbi, the Vice Chairperson of the association, Dr Laiatu Augustine Bamaiyi described the victory of the Governor at the Supreme Court as the first of its kind in the history of Kebbi State.

Dr. Laiatu said, the victory was signalling the birth of new dawn in the socio-economic transformation of the lives of the citizens of the state. 

The statement added that It was a rare landmark in the sands of history for a politician to go through three stages of excruciating pains of litigations beginning with the Tribunal before passing through Appellant Court as well as the Supreme but emerged victorious and unhurt.

The statement added that, “The people of Kebbi would definitely be a point of political reference in Nigeria, more especially that in spite of the protracted series of legal tussles, the Governor had concentrated in executing projects that had direct bearing to the lives of the people”.

She once again commended the Governor for his continued execution of people oriented projects during the litigation period and called on the people of the state to support Governor Idris in his efforts of transforming the state during his tenure.
