BIS Dutsinma Graduates 50 Students, Presents Certificates Of Merit.

Muslims in the country have been charged to inculcate cultural and moral values in their children according to the teaching of the Holy Quran and the Tradition of Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon him.

The Dean, Faculty of Education, Federal University Dutsinma, (FUDMA) Dr Ummaru Mamman Mai Fata gave the charge during the graduation ceremony of 50 students of Baitussalam Islamiyya School (BIS) Dutsinma, katsina State on Sunday.

Dr Umar said, if parents could train their children according to Islamic moral values, it would be difficult for them to engage themselves in political thuggery, hooliganism, banditry and other social vices.

He also called on Muslim Ummah to always adhere to the teachings of the Holy Quran and Hadith in order to become useful members in their respective societies and to enable others to borrow a leaf from them.

Mai Fata also called on parents, governments at all levels, wealthy individuals, groups and other organizations to support Islamic education at various levels as they used to support Western Education in the country.

He also called on parents to always pay the school fees for their children at the appropriate time.

Payment of the school fees according to him would greatly assist in encouraging the teachers pay more attention to their duties.

Dr Umar also attributed the insecurity challenges affecting the state and the country at large to lack of obedience to the Almighty Allah.

He therefore advised Muslims to intensify prayers for peace to prevail in the state and the country in general.

In their remarks, the Guest Speaker, Malam Iliyasu Imam and the leader of the JIBWIS Dutsinma Local government, Malam Alhasan Sa’id advised Muslims irrespective of their sects or gender to propagate Islam and induce moral values in their children in order to benefit in the day of judgement.

Earlier, the Coordinator of the Islamiyya School Malam Sufyanu Ahamad narrated some challenges that are still becoming bottle-neck towards the development of the school which to included non payment of school fees, ten uncomplicated class rooms, lack of funds, among others.

Speaking on behalf of the parents of the graduands, the retired Arson, Nasiru Bala commended the effort of the school management for the role they have been playing towards the upbringing their children and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward them.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of the certificates to 50 graduates and three merit awards as well as merit certificates to important personalities who contributed towards the development of the school.
