Former Governor of Zamfara state and currently a Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has pleaded with the People of Zamfara state to use the Ramadan Period in Praying for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to stabilise the Nation’s Economy and National Security.
Yari said “Praying for Tinubu and the country would guarantee the present and future of all Nigerians”.
Yari, according to a statement by the chairman publicity Committee, A.A Yari Political Organization Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad made the plea while playing host to over 2,500 Members of All Progressives Congress, APC drawn from 147 Political Wards of the 14 Local government Areas of the state to a Ramadan Breakfast.
Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar opined that it’s instructive in Islam that followers shall always pray for the success of their leaders because they steer the wheel of their lives and such Prayers will see them through.
The Nation and its leaders he said needed prayers from all and sundry at this point in time taking into cognisance the security challenges and economic downturn that inflicted untold hardship on Citizens.
The Ramadan breakfast according Birnin Magaji lasted for five days in Abdul Aziz Yari’s residence in Talata Mafara between 1st and 5th of Ramadan.
During the event, each participant was presented with the Sum Of Fifty Thousand Naira and a Set of Babbar Riga by their host.
Members of the Ward, Local Government and State Executive Councils of All Progressives Congress, APC, Former Commissioners, Special Advisers, Directors – General, Councilors, Serving and Former Members of The National and State Assembly, Stakeholders, Islamic Clerics and Businessmen and Women attended the event.
