A non governmental organisation called FUAG foundation has reiterated its determination to improve the living standard of orphans across the country.
The fonder of the foundation Fijir Umar Gwadabe stated this during the iftar program with orphans in Zaria.
Fijir Gwadabe explained that the vision of the foundation was to put happiness in the face of the orphans especially during the Ramadan period.
She added that presently the foundation registered about 2800 orphans across the northern states.
Fijir Umar Gwadabe pointed out that the foundation organized series of skill acquisition programs to bolt parents and orphans to become self reliant.
She said during the feeding program a special prstyer was observed to seek Allah’s intervention to end lingering security challenges across the country.
Some orphans who spoke to newsmen expressed happiness over the efforts of the foundation that put a smile in their faces.
