Skills Acquisition: NGO Trains 700 Youths, Women In Kaduna

About 700 women and youth have benefited from various skills acquisition training to enable them become self reliant.

The National coordinator of a non governmental organisation, “Gamayyar Nasara Charity foundation” Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Raka stated this during the graduation ceremony held in Zaria.

Raka explained that the foundation’s aims and objectives were to make positive change among the teeming youth and women especially venerable and less privileged citizens to acquire entrepreneurship skills.

He pointed out that about 10,000 people have so far benefited from various skills since the formation of the training program across Kaduna state.

Speaking earlier the chairperson, women wing of the foundation, Hajia Amina Shehu maintained that the foundation faced series of challenges like funding and mobility in carrying out its responsibility.

Hajiya Amina solicited for support from the authorities to improve the socioeconomic development of citizens.

A guest speaker during the ceremony Alhaji Ubale Shehu lamented that many people have been left in object poverty due to insecurity and economic hardship.

Alhaji ubale Salmanduna stressed the need for government at all levels to reintroduce policies and programmes that would reduce the lingering economic hardship across the country.

He advised political office holders to fear Allah and be good representatives of their constituents and do justice to Nigerians .

some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Allah for giving them health and wisdom to benefit from the various skills training program.
