The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State, in collaboration with the office of the Minister of State for Defence, Alhaji Bello Muhammed (Matawalle Maradun, Shattiman Sokoto) has set up a 13-Man Committee to conduct a Sensitization Seminar for Journalists/Social Media influencers in North West Geopolitical Zone on Security Reportage.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the chapel, Malam Ishaka Zaki Tambuwal.
According to the statement, the Chapel has constituted a 13-man committee, under the chairmanship of Umaru Mohammed Maradun and Ibrahim Ahmad Gada to serve as chairman and Secretary of the Committee respectively.
Other members of the committee included Maiharaji Altine Salah of Punch Newspapers as Vice Chairman one and Comrade Ibrahim Kanoma of the Defender newspaper would serve as Vice Chairman two.
Other members included Idris Salisu of (Leadership Newspapers member, Babangida Ibrahim of the AIT memberns Theophilus Darofai, of TVC member.
The rest are, Silas Adamu, of the AIT as member, Sanusi Muhammad of the Blueprints Newspapers as member and Abdullahi Abdurrahaman Chakwa of DITV as member member and Husaini Yero of Leadership Hausa member.
Others are Aminu Abubakar Mayanchi who is a Chapel’s Secretary and correspondent of The Path Newspaper and Aminu Dalhatu of the FRCN Kaduna would serve as Assistant Secretary one and two respectively.
