Zamfara Health Commissioner Resolves NMA Crises, Receives Elders Commendation

The Zamfara state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun, has successfully resolved a recent leadership crisis within the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Zamfara State Chapter.

In recognition of her leadership, Dr. Maradun received a visit from the NMA Elders Forum, led by Dr. Hassan Mamman, on Thursday.

The Elders Forum commended Dr. Maradun’s dynamic leadership and her visionary approach in guiding the NMA through the challenging period.

They highlighted the positive impact her intervention had on both the association and the overall healthcare system in the state.

Dr. Maradun has consistently prioritized improving the health sector in line with the “Rescue Agenda” of Gov. Dauda Lawal.

She expressed gratitude for the Elders Forum’s visit and reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with the medical community to achieve the goals of the Rescue Agenda.

The visit signifies a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between the Ministry of Health and medical professionals in the state.
