Taimiyya Islamic Foundation Organizes National Conference On Islamic Literature

A Non Governmental Organization called Taimiyya Foundation has organized a National conference on the write-ups of Islamic  manuscripts aimed at saving the legacies to the younger generation.

The chairman of the foundation, Dr Tijjani Yusuf Lamido stated this in an interview shortly after the conference which was held in Zaria.

Dr, Tijjani Yusuf explained that Islamic Scholars  have contributed immensely towards the development of Islamic knowledge.

He pointed out that Islamic scholars like Sheikh Ahmed Makari Saidu has contributed a lot through mentorship, guidance and counselling of thousands of Islamic students across the country.

In a key note address the Vice Chancellor Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU) Professor Kabir Bala stressed the need for stakeholders of Islamic education to come together to imbibe the culture of safeguarding Islamic write up for the benefit of younger generations.

Also the Emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli represented by Wazirin Zazzau Malam Muhammad Inuwa Aminu said the Zazzau emirate remained committed to supporting and reviving Islamic manuscripts for future use.

Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli commended the dedication and zeal of Zaria Renowned Islamic scholars, Sheihk Ahmed Makari Sa,idu for motivating and mentoring of thousands of youth to become scholars in defferent fields of Islamic education irrespective of family background.

Hundreds of Islamic scholars attended the conference that was supervised by faculty of Arts and Social Science of ABU Zaria and Taimiyya foundation.
