Bandits have abducted the former NYSC Director, General Maharazu Tsiga.
The bandits who were said to in large number reportedly attacked Tsiga town in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, where they abducted Gen Tsiga together with unspecified number of people.
According to a report, the incident occurred around 12 a.m., today Thursday.
According to the source, the bandits went with dangerous weapons, shooting and forcefully gained access to Tsiga’s residence.
The sources also revealed that one bandit was killed, but no one was killed from the residents of the area during the attack.
When contacted, the police spokesperson, DSP Abubakar Aliyu said he was not briefed on the issue .
DSP Aliyu however said that, there was a reported case of abduction in Tsiga town, concluding that, “I cannot actually ascertain who and who were kidnapped.”
