President Ahmed BolaTinubu will soon honour the Zamfara female pilgrim, Hajiya Aishatu Yan Guru Nahuche, who had found the sum of 8, 000 Dollars and returned the money to the owner while performing Hajj in Mecca.
The chairman, Zamfara State Hajj Committee, Alhaji Musa Mallaha made this known on Tuesday in Gusau while briefing newsmen in his office.
Mallaha maitained that, President Tinubu was happy when he heard the news of the honest woman and directed the National Hajj Commission to organise a national press conference with the lady for record-keeping.
“But when the commission contacted us, the lady was already airlifted back to her home state in Nigeria after completing the Hajj exercise.
He said “We are still making arrangements for our Zamfara State Governor to be part of the ceremony”.
The chairman expressed happiness with the level of honesty exhibited by the female pilgrim.
He stressed that, hajiya Aisha Mohammed Nahuche has brought integrity to Zamfara state in particular and the country in general”.
“Her good behaviour is not only a pride to Zamfara state alone, but to the entire country”.
He also maitained that her good behaviour was a pride to the entire Muslim world.
He said, “Honesty is one of the major teachings of the Holy Quran which is the main guide for the Muslim Ummah”.
