Zazzau Emir groans over poor court’s judgements in Kaduna

The Emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has expressed sadness over poor court judgements by some courts across Kaduna state.

The Emir stated this while receiving the executives of Human Right network of Nigeria at his palace in Zaria.

The Emir explained that executing judgement and granting bail to people suspected to be criminal offenders within the communities is a bad signal.

He stressed the need for stakeholders in the judiciary to take urgent steps to curtail the injustice and unnecessary granting of bail to suspected criminals.

Malam Nuhu Bamalli charged lawyers to desist from causing delays when defending individuals in the court .

The Monarch assured the people that the emirate council was committed to settling disputes or misunderstanding among individuals.

The Emir described the Human Right Commission services as factor of building the nation and solving misunderstandings without attending court.

Earlier the zone one coordinator Human Right Commission Dr, Bala Sani said that the commission’s annual conference on Human Right would be proposed to hold in Zaria.

Dr Bala added that a workshop would be organized for District heads so as to enlighten them on their responsibilities in protecting the right of the citizens amongst others.
