International Donour Agency to train health personnel on drug revolving scheme in Kebbi

An International donor agency, USAID-Global Health Supply Chain- Procurement and Supply Management has concluded arrangements for the training of health personnel on the successful take-off of Sustainable Drug Revolving Scheme in Kebbi State.

The Technical Director Mr. Dimda James disclosed this when he led a team to the State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar on a courtesy call on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi

Dimda James who was with the Commissioner of Health, Yunusa Musa and Permanent Secretary, Dr. Shehu Nuhu Koko said they were in Kebbi State to offer two weeks training to the personnel that would be involved in the drug revolving programme.

He appreciated the readiness of the state government towards the establishment of the Drug Management Agency and commended the State Government for showing concerted efforts in healthcare delivery

Mr. James was delighted that Kebbi state has met all required criteria needed for the intervention from the USAID-Global Health Supply Chain- Procurement and Supply Management.

Responding, the State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar said the state government was committed to the provision of all the necessary support and facilities required for the success of the sustainable drug revolving Scheme.

He said healthcare delivery was one of the top priorities of the administration of Governor Nasir Idris and emphasized that healthcare delivery was a veritable tool for the development of the citizens and the State at large
