Troops of the Joint Task Force Northwest Operation HADARIN DAJI under the command of the General officer Commanding 8 Division Nigerian Army have rescued 15 kidnapped victims in Zamfara State.
The military source has on Monday revealed that the victims were rescued in the early hours of today Monday in Kayan Boggo village under Bukkuyum Local Government Area Area in Zamfara State.
“The troops immediately mobilized and established a blocking position at a possible route suspected to be used by the Bandit.
Contact was made and unspecified numbers of the bandits were naturalized, forcing them to flee and abandoning the kidnapped victims”.
According to the sources the victims were handed over to the district head of Gwashi village to reunite the victims with their families in the state.
