Kebbi state government has joined the world in celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The celebration took place on Sunday at Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
It was organized by the state’s Ministry for Special Duties in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs.
The APC Awareness for People with Disabilities Organization Kebbi state chapter has also joined the program to make the day memorable.
Activities like lectures and empowerment were carried out during the event.
The Commissioner of information and Culture Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK was the Guest Speaker at the occasion.
