The Nigeria Military Authority has promoted seven of it’s senior officers who are indigenes of kebbi state to the next ranks.
Those promoted are, Commodore S.M Tasiu from Yauri Local government area, Air Commodore S.M Chindo from Argungu local government, Brigadier General G.A Suru from Suru local and Air Vice Marshall Z.A Usman from Birnin Kebbi local government.
The rest are, Major Gen. G.S Mohammed from Bagudo local government area, Major Gen. M. Adamu from Ngaski local government and Major Gen.WB Idris from Ngaski local government.
Surprisingly however, Analyzer news gathered that, none of the promoted officers came from Zuru emirate which has in the past been in the lead in terms military personnel.
In a congratulatory message, the commissioner of information Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed said, the officers were promoted in the recent promotion exercise as announced by the military authority.
The commissioner on behalf of the Kebbi state government congratulated the seven promoted officers on their well deserved promotion and wished them Allah’s guidance and protection.
Ahmed said, the state was really proud of them and would continue to pray and support them in their chosen career.
He said, “Kebbi state is proud of you. May Allah continue to lead you to greater successes in your chosen career”.
“The state government under the leadership of Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) will continue to support you and pray for you.
The commissioner finally called on the promoted officers to contribute their quota for the development of the state.
