Senator Yaradua also commended the efforts of  President Tinubu for giving directives to the security chiefs to mobilize additional security personnel and war fighting equipments to Katsina and Zamfara states which is now yielding a positive result.

He called on the people to intensify prayers to seek divine intervention during the Holy month of Ramadan for the government to overcome the security challenges facing the state and the country in general.

Senator Yaradua who visited the troubled Local Governments and some communities ransacked by bandits symphatized with them and at the same time condoled the families of those that lost their loved ones and assured them governments at all levels would do everything possible to address the challenges.

Yaradua who launched the distribution of food items provided for poor and vulnerable households to ease their fasting and reduce the hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy, used the opportunity to call on the people to pray during the Ramadan for God to intervene over the security challenges.

He described the gesture as an act of charity in keeping with the faith to support the needy and poor during the Holy month of Ramadan, without political differences.

He added that there were many factors responsible for the hardship which to include removal of fuel subsidy and banditry that did not allow farmers to access their lands to produce food.

The beneficiaries were drawn from the eleven wards that comprised the local government area of Dutsinma.
