Pandemonium in Kano as protesters demand return of dethroned Emir Aminu Bayero

Thousands of protesters have blocked the major roads in Kano city, the kano state capital, demanding for the immediate reinstatement of the dethroned Emir, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.

The protesters who were mostly youths have hit the street in protest against the deposition of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.

They conducted a special prayer then later matched to the streets, chanting slogans, carrying placards with several inscriptions, calling on Governor Abba Kabir to rescind his decision and return Alhaji Aminu to his throne.

Some of the inscriptions read: “Abba Kabir Yusuf obey Court order”.

“Court brought you and you must obey the court”. 

“We are against injustice, Aminu is still our Emir among other inscriptions.

Meanwhile, heavy security was drafted  in on major roads to prevent possible break of law and order.
