The death has been announced of the Dean, Faculty of Post Graduate School, Federal University Gusau, Professor Lawal Mayanchi.
Professor Mayanchi died today Friday in a hospital, Kano.
His burial will take place on Saturday at the Bayero University Kano old site by 12:00 pm.
Professor Mayanchi’s death is a great loss for the University Community, Zamfara state and the nation in general.
May God Almighty forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
May Allah also give his family and his entire friends the fortitude to bear this great loss.
