A member representing Kaura-namoda-Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara state, Honourable Aminu Sani Jaji and his teeming supporters will remain in APC and with President Tinubu no matter the intimidation and campaign of calumny by those sabotaging the party’s chance of winning 2027 general elections.
In a statement, the Acting Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mansur Khalipha Kaura said, Honourable Jaji would continue to resist any campaign of calumny mounted against him by those who wanted to destroy the party for selfish interest.
Kaura stressed that, some enemies of progress within the APC have been trying to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of the honorable lawmaker in order to frustrate him to leave the party.
The Acting APC Secretary specifically accused the minister of Defence Honourable Bello Mohammed of trying to associate Honourable Sani Jaji with the leader of the NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso just to tarnish his image.
According to Kaura, the pictures of Honourable Sani Jaji and that of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso being miscellaneously circulated were old pictures snapped when the former visited the latter when he was contesting for the post of a Speaker of the Lower chamber of the national Assembly.

Kaura said, “Our attention has been drawn to another mischievous publication by some desperate political losers within the Zamfara APC aimed at destroying the hard-earned reputation of our political mentor Rt Hon. Dr Aminu Sani Jaji”.
“For the record, the picture released carrying the images of the NNPP National leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and that of Hon. Aminu Sani Jaii by these desperate politicians who are known to us is an old picture snapped before the inauguration of the 10th national assembly when our political mentor visited some powerful party supporters in Nigeria seeking for their support for his candidature of Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives”.
“Just the way he visited Kwankwaso our political leader Aminu Sani Jaji reached out to many prominent Nigerian politicians and canvassed for their support with a bid to winning the post of Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives as he worked round the clock to pursue genuine transformation agenda through effective legislation for Nigerian people”.
“During that same period there were evidences which shows the former Governor of Zamfara Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar who equally contested for the post of the Senate President paid similar visit to Kwankwaso the NNPP National leader just the way another photo of Matawalle the Honourable Minister of State for Defence as well as the suspended party chairman of the APC Zamfara Tukur Umar Danfulani paid similar visit to Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso aimed at canvassing support for the candidature of Sen. Godswill Akpabio’.
“To the best of our knowledge, the people instigating this feud to frustrate Jaji and his teeming supporters out of the APC are those Zamfara politicians who instigated bad blood for the APC through their several failed promises to the people and corrupt behaviors emanating from seriality of lootings of public funds when they were on the seat of power”.
“Their antecedents caused the APC a heart-beat political crash which resulted to the party losing elections in both the 2019 and 2023 general elections in the state and beside, the development of the 2023 elections were tagged “the worst political experience in Nigeria’s recent time”.
The Acting Secretary therefore called on the APC National chairman, Honourable Abdullahi Umar Ganduji to appoint a committee to look into this issue with a view to solving the party from total disintegration in Zamfara state.
He said, “On this premise, we call on the APC leadership led by former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to call the Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle to order hence he has continued to work his ways in making sure that APC has been frustrated at all cost in Zamfara”.
“The National leadership of the APC should take notice of our earlier publication where we pointed to the fact that Matawalle has been financing the failure of the APC in Zamfara since 2023 election season hence even now he has been actively involved in the so-called mega party project with the opposition group”.
“As for Aminu Jaji we want to make it very clear that he has been an APC man all his life and he has no intention to defect out of the APC since it was a project he invested heavily”.
“He won his local government for President Asiwaju, he delivered the state for Asiwaju and also mobilized resources in supporting the Asiwaju project through out the entire North West as Director of Mobilization”.
Kaura lamented that, the Honourable Minister could not secure victory for the party even in his own local government in the last 2023 general elections.
“The Minister of State for Defence Hon Bello Matawalle could not secure victory for Tinubu in Maradun his own country home hence the Jajiya political movement of the APC as at that time has to wed in to save the APC and save it’s Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu when it realized that people of Maradaun were issuing protest votes against the APC during Presidential elections simply as a demonstration of their political anger against the then sitting Governor Bello Matawalle and his government”.
“So the campaign of destruction championed by Matawalle against the APC after losing Maradun (11) constituency to the opposition PDP is an eye opener to well wishers of APC and President Tinubu that they have to monitor the Honourable Minister of State for Defence closely in order not to cause another problem for the APC ahead of the 2027 election”.
The Acting Secretary therefore stated that the APC in Zamfara led by Isiyaka Ajiya Anka will remain steadfast in ensuring that enemies of the APC were blocked in order not to work victoriously for the opposition.
He concluded that, “Aminu Sani Jaji and his millions of supporters will remain in APC and with President Tinubu at all cost and will continue to resist any campaign of calumny aimed at tarnishing the hard earned reputation of the Federal lawmaker”.
