The Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described a member representing Kaura-namoda-Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara state, Honourable Sani Jaji as petty political toddler who is being used by his political dogs for monetary gains.
In a statement, the spokesperson of the party, Alhaji Yusuf Idris said, Honourable Jaji was surrounded by fake loyalists who were always out to create problems for him so that they would get his money.
Idris said, “The political dogs, just because of monetary gains, have continued to drown him by feeding him with seamless lies, making him see everyone of his seniors in politics as either an enemy or an inferior”.
Idris reminded Honourable Jaji that, it was Senator Abdul Aziz Yari who brought him into politics when he served as the Governor of the state from 2011 to 2015 when he nominated him to be the sole administrator of Birnin Magaji local government and later supported him to become an elected chairman.
Idris said, “Without mincing words, it was former Governor and now Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar that really brought Jaji into the political limelight when he nominated him as sole administrator of Birnin Magaji local government area as well as later supported him to become an elected executive chairman of the same local government area which prepared him for his first term into the House of Representatives still with Yari’s support”.
He also reminded Jaji that, both Senator Abdul Aziz Yari and the Minister of Defence Honourable Bello Matawalle were not his political mates but rather his seniors, as such he should follow them with great respect if he wanted to end up well.
He said, “There can never be any form of political comparisons between Hon. Sani Jaji and all those he has chosen to be calling out in the political labyrinth of Zamfara State”.
“Jaji is fast becoming a fodder overshadowing the little accomplishments he has thus far achieved by continuously and failingly biting the hands that fed him in his political life and experience as he ventures on the impossible, to run faster than his shadow while the sun shines from behind him”.
“Politically, by the time Jaji was just cutting his political teeth, Matawalle had already garnered the support of his people and had held several senior political offices including going to the national assembly and holding sensitive positions”.
“He is still using the Presidency and faking his loyalty to President Tinubu for the fear that the party could deal with him if he misbehaves”.
“Unfortunately, he has continued to express disloyalty to the party because in all their writeups, the Jaji never showed respect or loyalty to the party”.
Idris therefore warned Honourable Jaji to change his decision of sabotaging the APC in the state in his quest for joining a Mega party in 2027 or face serious penalities.
He however expressed optimism that, Honourable and his fake loyalists did not have the capability to destroy the party in the state.
He said, “Jaji’s attempt to destroy APC in Zamfara State through the formation of a faction at this time would not succeed because we are ready to deal decisively with him and his co-travellers at any length”.
“We advise him to respect his leaders so that he will succeed, he should look back at other national assembly members from the state that did same and where they are today”.
“Operating one man army in any political movement will never succeed, so let him shine his eyes well to avoid crash landing”.
“The Jaji team is hereby strongly warned to desist from polarizing the APC in the state and the nation by extension as they are being pushed by their envy, evil machinations and ignorance of the party’s constitution especially as regards how leaders emerge*.
Idris reminded Jaji and his followers that, “Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani remains the substantive, APC and INEC recognized Zamfara State APC Chairman having been elected at the party’s state convention with all delegates from the 147 wards of the 14 local government areas of the state under the supervision of a Convention Committee headed by Hon. Kabiru Ibrahim Masari who was sent from the National Secretariat of the party as well as other party leaders and stakeholders including INEC and security agencies”.
“Removing such a person must therefore follow the laid down protocols and so is the appointment of a replacement, unlike what the ignoramuses did”.
“If they do not desist from these bad ways, they should be prepared for the consequences of their actions”. Concluded Idris.
