Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari has constructed a world class Jumu’at Mosque in Dada village of Garbadu District , Talata Mafara Local Government area of Zamfara state.
Speaking during the official inauguration of the mosque in Dada, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, Marafan Sokoto who was represented by former chairman of Talata Mafara local government, Alhaji Dahiru Maiyara Garbadu urged people of Dada Community to be very devoted in making good use of the Mosque and not only use it as praying point, but also make it a preaching and learning center.
The first Jumu’at prayer was observed and led by the former commissioner for religious affairs, Dr. Abdullahi Mahrazu.
In his sermon, the commissioner commended the effort of Senator Abdulaziz Yari for building the wonderful Mosque and named it, which he described as world class.
He father called on well to do individuals and politicians to emulate Senator Yari in such generous activities.
Among other important personalities who grace the commissioning of the newly constructed mosque are, chairman of Jama’atil Izalatil Bid’a Wa’ikamatis- sunnah Talata Mafara Branch, Dr. Abdullahi Sani, popularly known as malan Usama.
Residence of Dada Community and environs expressed his unquantifiable appreciation to senator Yari and further prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.
