The people of Zamfara North Senatorial District, in Zamfara state have commended the Senator representing the area, Alhaji Sahabi Ya,u Kaura for providing the dividend of democracy to the people of the area.
Speaking on behalf of the people of the area, the PDP secretary for Shinkafi local government area, Alhaji Abubakar Ladan said the representation of Senator Sahabi Ya’u Kaura has touched every angle in the zone.
Abubakar stressed that “No any single ward from the four local government areas that are within the zone that didn’t benefit from Senator Sahabi’s good gesture”.
Abubakar Ladan revealed that the Senator was able to secure job for 200 people in the zone who were given N30,000 each for the duration of three months.
Aaccording to him the gesture would reduce the unemployment problem being faced by the Youths..
According to him Senator Ya’u executed roads network in shanawa and Galadi ana also provided potable drinking water in some communities ,such as solar borehole at Shinkafi town and hand pumps in Maberiya among others.
He also said Senator Sahabiu Ya’u has recently recruited 300 youths both males and females to undergo various skills acquisition training at various skills, which included tailoring, shoe and bags making, home economics, hand pumps and GSM repairs.
In a related development Abubakar Ladan commended Governor Bello Matawalle for his peace reconcilation initiatives.
“We are seeing the benefits of it, because the banditry activities that have almost crippled the socioeconomic development of the area have now been put under control as a result of the peace process introduced by Governor Matawalle”.
