The Publicity Secretary of the people’s Democratic party (PDP) Zamfara state chapter, Alhaji Abba Bello has announced the conduct of local government and ward adhoc delegates congresses across the state.
Speaking to newsmen in Gusau last Saturday, Alhaji Abba maintained that, the congresses were conducted peacefully in all the 14 local government areas and 147 wards across the state.
According to him, the newly elected adhoc delegates would partake in the conduct of the forthcoming primary elections in the state to elect candidates who would contest in 2023 general elections.
He maitained that the party would remain committed in ensuring unity and progress among it’s members.
“We shall strive to work hand in hand with every member of the party to ensure unity, progress and success come 2023”. Said Bello.
He stated that, the party has been receiving large number of people who were defecting to the party on daily basis.
He expressed the hope that PDP would reclaim Zamfara state in 2023, calling on the members of the party to remain resolute.
