The hierarchy of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kebbi state, has presented motorcycles to ward chairmen of the party throughout the state.
Each of the two hundred and twenty-five ward chairmen of the APC took possession of a new brand high performance motorcycle for campaign activities preparatory to the 2023 general elections.
At the ceremony held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Birnin Kebbi, this Wednesday, the Kebbi State APC Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru, said the motorcycles numbering about three hundred were procured through personal donations by top echelons of the party.
Alhaji Kana read out the list of their names which included a former deputy governor of the state, now chairman, Direct Labour Agency, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Dantani, Magajin Rafin Kabi, former Deputy Governor, now APC National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, Jarman Kabi, Alhaji Ibrahim Bagudu, Personal Assistant to the State Governor, Alhaji Faruk Musa Yaro (Enabo) and APC Zonal Vice Chairman Kebbi North, Alhaji Sahabi Lolo.
Others were the Chairman, APC Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, Zannan Gwandu, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Power, Alhaji Yusuf Haruna Rasheed, Sardaunan Gwandu, Alhaji Zayyanu Maigishiri and Alhaji Ibrahim Suru, National Treasurer, RIFAN.
The Kebbi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Kana Zuru made it clear that the motorcycles were presented to the Ward Chairmen solely for campaign purposes to nooks and crannies of the state.
He warned the ward chairman not to sell the motorcycles for personal gains.
In a welcome address, the APC Zonal Vice Chairman, Kebbi North, Alhaji Sahabi Lolo thanked all APC members for their support and prompt response to party issues.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman, APC Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, Zannan Gwandu, reaffirmed unflinching support to the administration of Governor Atiku Bagudu under whatever circumstance.
Among those who made symbolic presentation of the motorcycles to the ward chairmen were the state APC chairman Alhaji Kana Zuru, former Deputy Governor Alhaji Bello Dantani and the state deputy women leader, Hajiya Jamila Umar Baba.
