A Zamfara Radio Popular Producer, Idris Haruna Magami kidnapped by bandits few days ago has regained freedom.
Recall that, Magami was kidnapped by bandits last Wednesday when he was traveling to his hometown after closing hours.
Magami who refused to disclose the amount collected from him as ransom said, he was not badly treated by the bandits throughout his stay in their camp.
He said, “The bandits have been very kind to me throughout my stay in their camp”.
“There was never a time I was maltreated but I have been seeing many abductees being subjected to all sorts of maltreatment”.
“They used to give me food and also allowed me to observe my five daily prayers, a privilege denied to many of those they have abducted”.
“I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciations to many Media houses for their quick reportage of my abduction”.
“This has greatly assisted in my quick release from the bandits”.
“I also want to use this medium to thank all those who have contributed to my release”
Magami also commended the entire people of the state, more especially the teeming listeners of his popular phone in Hausa program called ‘Su duniya manya’ ( Meaning the world is full of surprises).
