Businessmen patronising Anchau cattle market in Kubau local government area of Kaduna state have decried the bad conditions of the market environment.
Analyzer news correspondent who visited the market reported that despite the long historical background of the market, it has been left behind in the area of basic and social amenities.
Investigation showed that the market has no convenient places, drainages, loading and off loading area ,among others .
Speaking on the issue, the treasurer of Anchau Cattle market association, Alhaji Aliyu Maituwo stressed the need for Kaduna state government and Kubau local government area to come to their aid by reconstructing the whole market to a modern one.
Alhaj Aliyu Maituwo described the Anchau cattle market as one of the most popular markets in Kaduna state.
He said thousands of Youths largely depended on the market for survival every week.
Thousands of cattle buyers and sellers from Nigeria and neighboring countries patronize the market for over fifty years.
Some buyers and sellers who spoke to our Reporter called on all stakeholders in Anchau to take imme action in providing all necessary amenities in order to put the market in good shape.
