The Nigeria Union of journalists, Zamfara state Council has condoled two of its members who lost their relatives.
The affected members are; Nafisa Abubakar Kanoma, who is the Assistant Secretary of the council whose father in-law died and Hussaini Yaro, the state Correspondent of Leadership Hausa who lost his uncle.
In a press release, the Council’s chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare said the death of the two personalities was a great loss not only to their families but to Zamfara state NUJ and the entire Muslim Ummah.
The statement reads in parts as follows; “The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Zamfara state Council wishes to on behalf of all its members condole the families and relatives of the deceased”.
“The union prays to Almaghty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest, reward them with Jannatul Firdaus and give their families the fortitude to bear the loss”.
“The council urges the family members to accept this as the will of the Almaghty Allah as he loves them better than us”.
“May their souls continue to rest in peace, aamin”.
