126 lecturers of FCE Zaria benefit from TETFUND intervention

The Provost, Federal College of Education Zaria, Dr Sulaiman Balarabe has said that about 126 lectures have benefited from Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) intervention to undergo PhD programs.

The provost stated this in Zaria during the matriculation of over 3000 National Certificate of Education (NCE) regular

Dr Balarabe explained that some of the lecturers would study outside the country while others would be in Nigerian universities.

The Provost said the courses included sciences, Education and social sciences among others.

Speaking on the enrollment of new students the Provost pointed out that about 3348 students got admission under the NCE regular program for 2021- 2022 academic session.

He explained that the enrollment in this session due to economic situations of most parents .

He said the management introduced flexibility on the payment of school fees to assist parents.

Dr Balarabe charged the new students to pay their school fees at the authorized payment center.

He stressed the need for the new students to shun exam malpractice, cultism or any immoral behaviour during and after their courses.

Some new students expressed their happiness and promised to work hard to achieve their desired aims.
