Zamfara SSG inspects ongoing projects at Govt House Gusau, expresses satisfaction
The Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe Sardaunan Danisa has paid a working visits to the ongoing projects embarked by the present administration at Government House Gusau.
The inspection tour according to the Director General and the Press Secretary office of the SSG, Malam Idris Salisu said the aim of the visit was to find out the levels of works going on by the contractor.
Salisu said the inspection visit of the projects was conducted by the Secretary to the state Government in collaboration with State Projects Monitoring Committee under the leadership of Honourable Danjari Kotorkoship to ascertain the level of work done at the new Office of the state Governor and residence.
The statement reads in parts as follows, “The SSG who was conducted round the two projects site by the contractor, expressed satisfaction with the quality and level of works going on, stressing that “the two ongoing projects has reached 75 and 80 percent level of work respectively.
“He said the State Government established Project Monitoring Committee in order to monitor all the MDAs projects awarded so as to ensure the projects are done in accordance with specification contained in the contractual agreement”.
The SSG maintained that both the Project Monitoring Committee and office of the Secretary to the State Government would continue visitation of all projects in the state and monitor to ensure the work was done in according to specifications.
“In fact, am satisfied with the level of work going on both the office of the Governor and that of his residence.
The SSG said some electrical problems and minor areas observed that needed some adjustment would be addressed by the contractor.
Lamidon Kaura Namoda therefore, called on the contractor to speed up his work and ensure to meet the contractual agreement.
The SSG assured the present administration of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle determination to provide all the basic infrastructure for the benefit of the state’s citizens and the upcoming generations.
The SSG was accompanied by the State Head of Service Alhaji Kabiru Mohammed Gayari, CHon Commissioner Information Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara and members of the state Projects Monitoring Committee.
