The Zamfara State Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate, Dr Dauda Lawan Dare expressed optimism that PDP would take over the state come 2023 general elections.
Speaking to journalists shortly after his re election as the PDP flag bearer in the state, Lawan Dare said, the party was ever ready to clinch the state from APC in the forthcoming general elections.
He said, “By the grace of God we are going to take over Zamfara state in 2023”.
Lawan Dare assured the people of the state that he would do everything humanly possible to ensure that the state restored its lost glory within shortest possible time.
“I am not unaware of the problems currently affecting our dear state and by the power of Allah, I want to assure you that I will do my very best to salvage the state during my tenure”.
He called on the people of the state to continue supporting the PDP in order to move the state forward.
He thanked the Almighty Allah for giving him the chance to win the primary election, calling on those who contested along with him to give him their maximum support and cooperation both during and after the governorship election in order to move the state forward.
“I want to call on those who contested along with me to regard my success as the will of the Almighty Allah and cooperate with me so that together we will win all elections come 2023 so as to salvage the state”.
“I also want to call on the good people of Zamfara state to continue giving us their support and encouragement so as to enable our party to emerge victorious in all future elections”.
“If elected in 2023, we will ensure that all the problems currently affecting our state have become history”. Concluded Lawan Dare.
