The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Peter Obi has exonerated the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) from being terrorists as announced by the Federal Government.
Obi, during an interview with Channels Television, said IPOB members around him do not constitute a threat to the country.
Obi added that “They are not a terrorist organization”.
Recall that the Nigerian government had proscribed IPOB following the agitation for the actualization of Biafra.
Despite the proscription, IPOB, and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, had continued to push for the actualization of Biafra.
