Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has condemned those criticizing the Muslim -Muslim ticket of All Progressive Congress (APC), saying that, they were only doing so to destabilize the country.
Marafa who is also the Zamfara state campaign coordinator for Tinubu) Shattima maitained that, those criticizing the Muslim -Muslim ticket have ulterior motives and wanted to use the Muslim -Muslim ticket as an avenue to achieve their aim.
According to him, some people have been looking for ways to destabilize the country and they wanted to capitalize on Muslim -Muslim ticket to achieve their selfish interest.
Marafa said, he did not see anything wrong with the Muslim -Muslim ticket, stressing that, it would not change anything religiously as being insinuated by some mischief makers.
“I don’t see anything wrong with the Muslim -Muslim ticket. The whole thing you are seeing is just a hypocrisy”.
“Some people want the country to break up and they want to use the opportunity of the APC Muslim -Muslim ticket arrangement to make sure that the country breaks”.
“I want people to understand that, nobody can islamize or christianize Nigeria no matter how hard he tries as those people were saying”.
“The Muslim -Muslim ticket is just a party arrangement and it is not intended to favor any religion against the other”.
Marafa maitained that, the choice of any candidate is optional as nobody would be forced to vote for APC or any other party.
He stated that the country has 18 political parties and Nigerians who were not happy with the Muslim -Muslim ticket could still go to the other parties.
He stressed that, politics was a game of number and if anybody has any grudge against the APC Muslim -Muslim ticket arrangement could move to another party.
He however assured Bola Tinubu that the people of Zamfara state as well as the entire northwest would vote for him come 2023.
“We are going to give massive votes for Tinubu and Shattima and I am very optimistic that Tinubu will win Nigeria in 2023”.
