National Transformation Program Hails Zamfara Government for youths empowerment, security

Zamfara state government has been honoured by organizers of the National Transformation Program (NTP) for its wonderful performance in providing jobs to the youths, uniting the people, as well as improving the security situation in the state.

This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Dr Barira Ibrahim Bagobiri while speaking to newsmen at the venue of the programme in Calabar, Cross River state.

Hajiya Barira maitained that, the officials from Zamfara state have spoken on job creation, poverty alleviation and security issues during a session at the Conference which has made the organizers of the program to be very impressed with the performance of Governor Bello Mattawalle.

The Permanent Secretary emphasized the effort of Zamfara state government towards creating unity and peace among Muslims and Christians communities in the state.

Other state government officials who spoke at the occasion were the Director of Administration Hajia Aina’u Sani Ahmad and Director Women, Hajia Zara’u Abdu Gusau all from the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

Dr Barira explained that the participants of the Conference were happy with the speeches presented by the representatives from Zamfara state.

The National Transformation Program aims to develop the necessary infrastructure and create an environment that enables the public, private and non-profit sectors to achieve Vision 2030.

This will be accomplished by achieving governmental operational excellence, supporting digital transformation, enabling the private sector, developing economic partnerships, and promoting social development, in addition to ensuring the sustainability of vital resources.
