Zamfara govt to construct classes, hostels at Qur’anic Schools

Worried over the condition of the Almajis in the pursuit of Qur’anic education, Zamfara state government has perfected plans to construct classrooms and hostels at various Qur’nic schools in the state

Special Adviser, Islamic Associations and Qur’anic Schools, Dr. Atiku Balarabe Zawiya disclosed this during the distribution of foodstuff to 65 Qur’anic Schools in Gusau, the state capital

He said government decision to construct classes and hostels was to provide good atmosphere for learning to the pupils.

According to him, Governor Bello Matawalle was concerned about the condition of the Almajirai and ready to improve the situation to enhance learning Qur’anic education.

He charged proprietors of the schools to judiciously feed the Almajirai as directed by the state government

“The foodstuff is meant for the Almajirai, so have the fear of God Almighty in the feeding of the pupils it was meant for”, he added

Earlier, Executive Secretary, Sani Abdullahi Jangebe tasked the proprietors the be conscious of the sanitary condition of the pupils.

“Apart from providing food to the pupils, we are also concerned about the sanitary condition of the pupils under your care.

“so kindly ensure good condition of where they sleep, washing and birthing”, he said.

He also, urged desk Officers to ensure effective monitoring of the Qur’anic Schools to ensure strict conpliance in the feeding of the pupils.
