The chairman, campaign committee for Governor Bello Matawalle’s second term in office, Alhaji Abdul Aziz Yari has expressed delight over the large turn out of APC supporters in Anka town, the headquarters of Anka local government.
Addressing the mammoth crowd on Sunday Abdulaziz Yari expressed appreciation over the support shown by the APC supporters in Anka town.
Yari who admitted that the banditry activities currently facing the state started during his tenure assured the people of the state that if given the second chance Matawalle would redouble efforts in tackling the problem.
He urged APC supporters to vote for Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle so as to enable him provide more dividend of democracy through job creation and implementation of people oriented programs.
Yari promised to continue his senatorial electioneering campaign and that of Governor Bello Matawalle for them to emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking at the occasion Governor Matawalle expressed satisfaction with the unflinching support and turnout of APC supporters during his electioneering campaign.
He commended all those who graced the occasion and promised to adopt more strategies in the fight against banditry.
Matawalle also promised to execute people oriented projects for the rapid development of the state of given the second term.
He called on APC supporters to elect all APC candidates from top to bottom without any anti party activity.
He explained that, Zamfara is an APC state, adding that, “Anybody who is not in APC is not a true son of the state”.
