Governor Bello Mattawalle of Zamfara state has expressed optimism that the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu would be the next Nigerian President.
Matawalle who spoke to newsmen in his hometown Maradun said, Tinubu has all the qualities required to lead the country after Muhammadu Buhari.
“You will all agree with me that Ahmed Bola Tinubu is tested and trusted politician who has the love of the country at heart”.
Matawalle said, “Tinubu is a well known politician in this country and performed well when he was a Governor in Lagos state”.
“This is a person that does not care about what people are saying about him”.
“He brings all of us together both from the north and the south”.
“Infact, he is a bridge builder that is why we campaign vigorously for him”.
”I assure you that he is going to win the election by the grace of God”.
Matawalle said that there was a mammoth crowd wherever Tinubu went for campaign because people wanted to see him and assured him of their support.
Governor Matawalle stressed that, the APC members wanted power to shift to the south after the tenure of Muhammadu Buhari.
He said, “We have come with an agenda that power should shift to the south”.
“We have agreed to that and we have adopted that and later we have brought Ahmed Bola Tinubu as Buhari’s successor”.
