The Governorship candidate for Peoples Democratic Party in Kebbi State, General Aminu Bande (rtd) has rejected the results that gave victory to APC during the last polls

Addressing Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, General Bande said he and PDP would approach the court to reclaim their mandate stressing that the votes scored by PDP during the last governorship supplementary election were genuine, credible and verifiable

He said ” I thank all PDP supporters in the state for standing behind me throughout the struggle”.

“We will not let them down because we will explore all judicial means to get our stolen mandate back”

“While appalling to our supporters to maintain peace and order we are calling on the state government to unconditionally release over 60 PDP members unlawfully languishing in various jails”.

“We are also calling on the state government to pay the witheld salaries of civil servants as well as reinstate traditional rulers suspended on the allegations of being our supporters”.

General Bande concluded that, ”The judiciary being an unbiased umpire has given us the courage to approach it for justice”.
