Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board chairman has assured to improve synergy with Traditional rulers and community leaders to further promote education in the state.
The chairman gave the assurance while receiving a report from the education secretaries across the state on protection of trees planted by the board in primary schools across the state.
In their separate remarks Kaura Namoda education Secratary, Alhaji Mande Abdullahi and his counterpart from Bungudu local government, Alhaji Sani Yahaya Bungudu have explained the measures they have taken to protect the planted trees in their respective local Governments.
Recently the board has provided 700 seedlings to each of the 14 local Government education secretaries to be shared at some target primary schools in the state.
In his remarked, the Executive chairman zamfara state universal basic education board Abubakar Aliyu Dan Madamin Maradun expressed satisfaction with the performance of education secretaries regarding the tree planting campaign.
On the issue of Common Entrance Examination and was also satisfied with preparation so far from the fourtheen local Government education secretaries and school base management committee (SBM C) for their job well done .
However,the board chairman has further disclosed that he would improve on synergy between the board and traditional rulers, community leaders in order to promote the education forward in the state.
