Establishment of Royal Cooperative Society, welcome development— Chairman

The establishment of Royal Cooperative Society Hospital Service Management Board Gusau, Zamfara state, has been described as a welcome development to the civil servants in the state. 


This was stated by the chairman of the Royal Cooperative Society Hospital Management Board, Alhaji Abdulkadir Sani k/ daji, during a 2021 annual general meeting of the board, held at FCET Gusau, 

Alhaji Abdulkadir said that, “The it was established in 2014,  with 96 members, and at the end of 2017, the number has risen to 572. We now have over 200 members who applied, requesting for membership”.

According to him, it started with the Hospital Service Management Board, explaining that, members were now drawn from ministries, boards, agencies, commissions and parastatals across the state.

He thanked the members for their resilience and  determination to ensure the success of the Cooperative Society, urging them to mentain the tempo.

Abdulkadir listed some achievements which included, distribution of plots, Ramadan commodities, rams loan, purchases of houses to members, purchase of vehicles, providing building materials and payment of school fees to members.

He expressed happiness  over the turnout of members in attending meetings, calling on them to maintain the tempo.

He also thanked the trustees, executive  members, Head of Service, Ministry of Finance, the Chairman, Hospital Service Management Board and the Director Finance in the state.
