The Zamfara state All Progressive Congress (APC) Caretaker Committee Secretary, Alhaji Sani Mono Mafara has said that, there was no more faction within the party in the state, adding that “it is now united and stronger more than ever before.
Alhaji Sani who was speaking with our Reporter on phone over the ongoing membership registration and revalidation of APC members across the country said, “We have since reconciled ourselves and we are now united and more stronger than before”.
He maintained that, “Anybody who thinks that, APC is still factionalized in Zamfara state is either ignorant of what happened in Abuja or is just a Mischief maker who does not mean well to the people of the state”.
He explained that, the national leadership of the party under Mai mala Buni had reconciled the two factions where the factions forgave each other in a colourful ceremony at the national headquarters in Abuja
Sani declared that’ “As I am talking to you now, both the former Governor Abul Aziz Yari and Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa factions of the APC are currently holding a meeting at the resident of Former Governor Yari here in Kaduna town”.
“So the issue of faction is now history in our great party and we are now one family”.
