Madarasatul Rahamaniyya and Islamiya School Sabon Fegi Gusau in Zamfara state has distributed Ramadan and Sallah package to 207 orphans and less privileged.
This was disclosed by the school’s Director, Malan Aminu Abdulkadir Jelani Sabon Fegi Gusau, during the distribution of Ramadan and Sallah package to the orphans and less privileged in the school.
Malan Aminu explained that, 107 males were given five yards of shadda brocade each, while each of the 100 females got a bandle of wrapper and shoes.
He said that the assistance was given to the beneficiaries for them to celebrate Sallah with ease, calling on them to make use of the welfare package.
Malan Jelani, narrated that, this year’s welfare package was the fifth of its kind and assured that it would continue.
He commended the effort of the former Deputy Governor, Malan Ibrahim wakkala Muhammad Liman, Alhaji Sule Mamuda, Senator Hasan Muhammad Nasiha, Hon. Idris Garba Rikiji, Liman Dan Alhaji, among others for contributing immensely to the success of the distribution exercise.
He called on wealthy individuals and politicians to emulate them, explaining that, “helping the orphans and the less privileged is of paramount importance”.
Jelani called on the people of the state to continue praying for peace and stability stressing that no society could develop without peace.
In his speech, Alhaji Bashir Ataka, commended the school management for the donation of the welfare package to the orphans and the less privileged and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
In their separate speeches, the chairman chairman and secretary of the distribution committee, Alhaji Abubakar Sule Danturai, and Alhaji Mika,ilu Aliyu said that, distribution of Ramadan and Sallah package was the effort of school to assist orphans and less privileged to celebrate Sallah with ease.
