The people of Zamfara state are still waiting for Governor Bello Matawalle to defect to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Governor declared his intention to defect to APC on Tuesday today, but up to the time of filling in this report by 4. 56 pm, he was yet to defect.
Thousands of Matawalle’s supporters are currently waiting at the Trade Fair Complex Gusau where the Governor would formerly announce his defection.
Prominent personalities and politicians are already in the state to witness the occasion.
The Governors of Plateau, Simon Bako Lalong, katsina, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, kogi, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Kano, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Bebbi, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu and the chairman of the APC Alhaji Mai Mala Buni are also expected to grace the occasion.
