Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state has announced the restoration of Telecom services and re-opening of all markets in the state.
The Governor who was speaking during the swearing in ceremony of the elected officials of the APC on Saturday said, following the improvement in the security situation in the state, he found it necessary to restore the Telecom services and reopen all the markets that were closed.
“I want to use this opportunity to inform the people of the state that, as from today, I have directed the National Communications Commission to open all networks in the state”.
“I also directed that, all markets should be reopened. I however want to call on the people of the state to continue to cooperate with my administration in its fight against banditry”.
Reacting to the crises within the APC in the state, Matawalle said, it was the handiwork of some people who did not mean well to be state.
He maintained that, some people were bent in creating chaos within the party because of their selfish agenda.
“We are aware that some people are bent on tearing up the party because their selfish interest and by the grace of God they will not succeed”.
