Traders across the country been advised to desist from arbitrary increase in the prices of food items during the month of Ramadan.
Sarkin Malaman Zazzau, Alhaji Sunusi Umar Abdullahi gave the advice in Zaria while commenting of forthcoming Ramadan fasting.
Alhaji Sunusi Umar explained that if the traders reduce prices of their commodities Allah will bless their businesses abundantly.
Sarkin malaman Zazzau stressed the need for well to do individuals and philanthropists to assist the less privileged people among them.
He called on manufacturers to reduce prices of their products to support retailers so as to maintain low prices of food and other commodities.
He advised Nigerians to use the Ramadan period to pray for Allah to end the lingering security challenges in the country.
