Former Zamfara state Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar Shattiman Zamfara has urged APC elected officials at state and federal level to emulate Member Representing Maru/Bunguɗu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bunguɗu) in the provision of dividends of democracy to their respective constituents.
Senator Yari said provision of dividend of democracy to the electorates would go along way in making them to have a sense of practical representation of their elected officials.
Senator Yari according to a statement by the chairman Publicity Committee of A.A Yari Political Organization, Hon Ibrahim Muhammad Birnin Magaji, made the plea on Sunday, in Bunguɗu, Zamfara State at the 2nd Qur’ anic memorisation and graduation ceremony of Aisha(RA) Institute for Qur’anic Memorization.
He explained that apart from legislation, elected members of the party have the responsibility of providing some basic amenities in the area of education, health care delivery services as well as socio-economic empowerment of their People with a view to improving their lots.
Represented by a Former Commissioner Of Water Resources under his administration, Honorable Umar Jibo Dallatun Bukkuyum, Senator Abdulaziz Yari described investment in education, especially religious type, as everlasting that will see to the moral upbringing of the younger ones in an attempt to make our society a better place for all to live.
He donated the sum of N2 million to the Institute for its improvement and advised management, staff and students not to relent efforts towards the realization of its Proprietor’s goals of providing qualitative religious education to his constituents.
In his remarks, the Emir of Bunguɗu, Sarkin Fulani Alhaji Hassan Attahiru (MFR) expressed his people’s gratitude for having a worthy representative in the National Assembly who has taken the plight of his constituents with all the seriousness it deserved.
Speaking at the event, Proprietor of the Institute and Member of the National Assembly Representing Maru/Bunguɗu Federal Constituency, Honorable Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bunguɗu) reiterated his determination to always provide qualitative and quantitative representation to his constituents and thanked all those who contributed in making the event a huge success.
Established since 2008 by Honorable Alhaji Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bunguɗu), Member Representing Maru/Bunguɗu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, the Institute has graduated a quite number of young males and females memorisers of the Glorious Qur’an.
The event witnessed the graduation of two young boys who memorised the Holy Qur’an and 120 boys and girls who completed its study.
